We are looking to employ candidates who will provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients by assessing care needs and developing, implementing and evaluating them without supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that skilled assistance is provided to the Anaesthetist as per the College of Anaesthetist guidelines.

Working in a unit specialising in the area of orthopaedics.

The successful candidate will:
• Be an RGN or ODP with ENB 182/183, C&G 752, NVQ Level 3 in Operating Department Practice or Dip HE in Peri-Operative Practice
• Have significant and relevant post registration experience
• Have good knowledge of speciality and the role of the anaesthetic practitioner
• Have good leadership skills - be able to run the department in the absence of the Team Leader
• Be able to work independently and to lead a team

Maxim Healthcare require a Manager for a 24 Bed Care Home. The right candidate MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience in a health/personal care environment with 3 years at supervisory/junior management position. And must also be a Registered Nurse ( Nursing Home Only ).

    Key responsibilities;

Ensure understanding and compliance with Company Policies/Procedures, National Minimum Standards, Environmental Health, Infection Control, Health & Safety Executive, Fire Safety and all other relevant regulatory bodies.

 To recruit and retain a group of staff with appropriate qualifications, attitude and skills to deliver quality care. Ensure the recruitment process is compliant with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

 Ensure all staff receive an appropriate and effective Induction programme, complaint with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

 Ensure thorough and accurate documentation in all aspects of care home management.

 Provide all relative information for prospective clients and their representatives; provide a guided tour of the home and its facilities.

Complete all records for new admissions and ensure adequate arrangements are in place for all new clients.

Additional Duties
It is the nature of the services the Care Home provide that tasks and responsibilities are in many circumstances variable and unpredictable. All staff are therefore expected to work flexibly when the need arises, so that tasks that may not be covered by their job description are undertaken. These additional duties will normally be to cover unforeseen circumstances or changes in work and they will normally be compatible with the regular type of work.
